ECDP2023

Dear friends, dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the 19ᵗʰ European Congress on Digital Pathology 2023, to be held as an in-person event on 14ᵗʰ–17ᵗʰ June 2023 in Budapest (Hungary). We invite all professionals, from pathologists, biologists, technicians to computer scientists, clinicians, and industry partners, to join us in a friendly, stimulating environment to exchange views on the latest topics in digital pathology. At this year’s meeting in the center of Europe, along the Danube River connecting East, West, North and South of Europe, we will gather to share novel aspects of integrative pathology, discuss the strengths of the implementation of a digital workflow and promote the benefits and future applications of an AI-aided working environment.

The integrative dimension of this meeting will be represented by the combination of histology with molecular profiling, underlining once again that ESDIP’s mission is closely aligned with these developments, where computational pathology is the key to analyzing and interpreting the resulting complex data. ESDIP members and participants in this meeting will also have the opportunity to interact with colleagues from all over Europe and beyond, including representatives from our allied societies worldwide.

ESDIP is gaining new energy and is evolving fast to advance its members, offering novel scientific, diagnostic and educational opportunities, increasing communication and ideas for innovative paths.

We look forward to enjoying ECDP2023 together with you.

Please keep following the ESDIP announcements.

With our best regards, and on behalf of the ECDP2023 Organizing Committee,

Andras Kiss M.D. Sc.D.
Andras Matolcsy M.D. Sc.D.

Venue

Congress Venue “Corinthia Hotel Budapest”

The City

With its abundance of beautiful parks, vibrant contemporary art scene and pulsating nightlife, Budapest is one of the most memorable destinations in Central Europe. It was dubbed by artists and writers the ‘Paris of the East’ and the ‘Pearl of the Danube’ – with ‘Buda’ and ‘Pest’ sitting astride the great river on the city’s West and East banks, respectively. Attractions include a plethora of ‘must-see’ World Heritage sites, theatres and museums.

Congress Venue and Hotel

Corinthia Budapest is a showpiece of architecture and technology. The extensive facilities will offer the ideal venue for a truly unforgettable congress. They include the Grand Ballroom, perfectly restored to its original beauty using 72 tons of inlaid marble and rich, baroque-style decorated ceilings and walls, and the modern and spacious Valletta Conference and Exhibition Centre.

The Corinthia Hotel Budapest was beautifully transformed and sensitively restored from the old Grand Hotel Royal. This imposing hotel has retained the splendor of the original interior, fronted by a breathtaking historical façade.
